Fans Have Gathered Together to Mourn The Loss of Tom Holland's Locks

It's an epidemic that's recently been widespread and without a cure, inflicting some of the most desirably-locked men in Hollywood. Fans learned late on Monday that Tom Holland was the most recent leading man to chop off his tousled mane.

In a video message to a fan, Holland casually unveils a buzz cut, news which quickly circulated on Twitter. "TOM HOLLAND IS HAIRLESS NOOOOOO," an early whistleblower alerted when posting the video.

The loss of Holland's locks comes after a slew of other stars. Before Holland's major transformation, Timothée Chalamet traded in his tresses for a bowl cut. In September, Stranger Things' Joe Keery inspired anguish when he debuted a shorter cut of his own.

Just as Chalamet changed his aesthetic for the upcoming Netflix film The King, it seems Holland's new look is also for the big screen. Per Holland's IMDB, his next project is a war drama called Cherry, which will be directed by Avengers: Endgame filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo. The plot is described as: "An Army medic suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder becomes a serial bank robber after an addiction to drugs puts him in debt."

One of the original users to share Holland's new look reminded fans of this reasoning, tweeting, "i just want y’all to know that this was NOT his choice it’s for a movie ok stan cherry (2020)." As the internet processes its emotions—and waits for the epidemic's next mark—here are the best reactions to Holland's new look.

It also acts as insurance in case the parchment paper gets damp.) If you're taking your sandwich out into the world, wrap again in plastic or return to bag or sleeve that bread came in to hold it all together for easy transporting.

If you don’t have pecans handy, walnuts make a great substitute.

Everything You've Ever Wanted to Know About Microneedling

For those looking to improve the look of scars, boost collagen, or encourage hair growth, microneedling can offer a minimally invasive solution. The practice dates back to 1995, but has gained significant traction in recent years thanks to new technology—and YouTube and Instagram, where the mesmerizing (albeit bloody) process stars in tens of thousands of videos. Here, dermatologist Macrene Alexiades , MD, PhD, who has published extensive research on microneedling, along with fellow Yale clinical professor and dermatologist Mona Gohara , MD demystify the multi-purpose treatment. Microneedling creates microscopic punctures in the skin. Simply put, microneedling is the insertion of very fine short needles into the skin for the purposes of rejuvenation, explains Macrene. The most popular (and cost effective) microneedling device, known as a dermaroller , is made up of micro-fine needles that range in diameter from 0.5 and 2.5 millimeters. But, if the prospect of multiple needle wounds s...
