Kim Kardashian may be a makeup mogul, but it's no secret she's also a skincare junkie. She regularly documents her facials, talks about her favorite serums, and does full pro-level prep on her skin before any KKW Beauty products even hit her face.
Last night, her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic told us a little more about what that prep looks like and it turns out she and Meghan Markle have the same secret weapon: Tatcha products. To get Kim ready for the amfAR gala in New York, the lineup included Tatcha's Classic Rice Polish, formerly called the Rice Enzyme Powder.
"When mixed with water, this foaming enzyme powder helps exfoliate and smooth the surface of the skin," Dedivanovic explained in a press statement. Back in 2014 Markle echoed that sentiment, telling Allure that she really "loves the Tatcha Rice Enzyme Powder. It just sort of foams on your face and gives you a really subtle exfoliation."
Priced at $65, The Rice Polish has reached cult-favorite status because of its gentle scrubbing and soothing foam. Papaya enzymes promote skin cell turnover while ground rice bran offers a light buffing that leaves your face cashmere-soft. Over time, fans claim it helps reduce hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, and gives an overall supple glow to the skin.
Shop four versions of the polish: Classic (best for conditioning), Deep (best for refining the look of pores), Gentle (best for moisturizing), and Indigo (best for inflamed skin).
