I have found the easiest, simplest way to cook rice is cooking it as you would pasta. No rinsing required, no calculating rice-to-water ratio. Simply add the desired amount of rice to the saucepan, cover add enough water to cover the rice by 2", being to a boil, then simmer until done, using package timing directions. Drain and fluff with fork. Never sticks, never clumps.
